it's not even worth my time to tell you how i feel about vampire weekend's white sky (i think this is my tenth post about it? the first step is admitting you have a problem) because i am pretty sure some otherworldly force spoke through them and it probably ~came to them in a dream~ because it is too good to have been written by human hands. anyway, i have also already expressed how i don't like the slow version they played on jimmy fallon (luckily the recorded version is the fast one), but it's better to listen to that than an awkward bootleg from glasgow just for the sound quality, so...

i feel like this should be the soundtrack to some tender momentz with a loved one. whereas THE FAST VERSION you can just dance to like crazy. try putting this on next time you're COURTIN SOMEONE SPECIAL and then see what happens.
if vampire weekend put this song out this year, it will be the song of the year. just sayin'.
