legit squealed when i saw this on twitter!
discovery are putting out an album on july 7th. after first introducing you to them about a year ago, i am so excited for some new jams, especially because pitchfork seriously used this sentence to describe one of them:
"it's actually very insane, in a Paula Abdul-meets-"Umbrella"-meets-Dexy's-meets-"The Electric [Fucking] Slide" kind of way"
- seriously!!
the LP also features angel deradoorian of dirty projectors (whose bitte orca will be in my top 5 albums of this year) and ezra koenig of vampire weekend (whose album if they put it out this year will be in my top 5 albums of this year).

whatever the case, friends of mine should expect this to be tearing up my car all summer. expect to listen to NOTHING ELSE, EVER AGAIN. thank you.

ONE OF THE BEST SONGS I HAVE HEARD IN A LONG TIME

anthony and i saw these guys open for the walkmen. i wasn't really impressed by much of their set but this song was phenomenal live, and i'm so glad i stumbled across the album version today. it's very lovely.
